Josine T. Moses, age 80, of Oak Hill passed away Monday, March 18, 2013, at the Ohio State Medical Center in Columbus. She was born October 7, 1932, in Thurman, Ohio to the late Steve and Margaret (Peg) Thomas.

She is survived by her sons, Steve (Mable), Tom (Linda) and Rob (Lynne) Moses; grandchildren, Megan Shoemaker, Rachael, Kyle, Hannah Moses and John Brian Wilson; great-grandchildren, Caden and Wyatt Shoemaker.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Moses, whom she married June 25, 1955. She was a lifelong member of the Thurman United Methodist Church, and a graduate of Rio Grande College class of 1954. She was a kindergarten teacher at Oak Hill Schools for 27 years, a devoted daughter, wife and mother. She was active in the United Methodist Church and Rio Grande Alumni.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 22, 2013, at the Thurman United Methodist Church with Pastor John Rozewicz officiating. Burial will follow at the Hill Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday, March 21, 2013, from 4-7 p.m. at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home in Oak Hill.
