Betty L. Stover, age 67, of Gallipolis, died Wednesday evening, November 7, 2012, at the Edgewood Manor Nursing Center in Wellston. Born May 28, 1943, in Arizona, she was the daughter of the late Henry W. and Betty J. Baird. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband, Clinton P. Stover, a daughter, Betty Ann Harrison Meldau, and by two sisters-in-law, Bobby Baird and Ann Baird.

Betty was a homemaker.

She is survived by four children, Brenda L (Ralph) Young of Gallipolis, Joyce L. (William) Levacy of Bidwell, Randy Harrison of Oak Hill, and Daniel S. (Patty McGuire) Stover of Gallipolis; 17 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, Don Baird of Gallipolis and Paul Baird of Alabama.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, November 11, 2012, at Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Gravel Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from noon until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the funeral home to help with Betty’s funeral expenses.
