Roger Brown, 74, of Gallipolis, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 11, 2013, at his residence.
He was born December 8, 1938, in Huntington, West Virginia, son of the late Luther R. and Louise Adkins Brown. He married Malora Sammons and she survives him.
He retired being the owner of the Roger Brown Nationwide Insurance Agency in Chesapeake. Roger faithfully attended First Church of the Nazarene in Gallipolis. He was a 32nd degree Mason and a member of Masonic Lodge #550 of Proctorville, Ohio. He was also a member of Chesapeake Lions Club International.
Roger is survived by his wife, Malora Brown of Gallipolis; two daughters: Shelley Brown, of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and Terri (Robbie) Jacks of Gallipolis; two grandchildren, Hunter and Hannah Jacks.
Services will be 1 p.m., Friday, February 15, 2013, at the Willis Funeral Home with Pastors Doug Downs and Eugene Harmon officiating. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Barboursville, WV. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, February 14, 2013 from 6-8 p.m.
