William Lee Isaac, 88, Vinton, Ohio, passed away Sunday, January 13, 2013, at Pleasant Valley Hospital, Point Pleasant, West Virginia. He was born November 6, 1924, in Floyd County, Kentucky, son of the late Spencer and Hulda Johnson Isaac. He married Rosie Johnson July 10, 1942, in Floyd County, Kentucky and she preceded him in death September 23, 2006.

William is survived by four sons: Finis Isaac, Vinton; Clinis (Linda) Isaac, Milton, Florida; Lonzie Isaac, Kerr, Ohio; Virgil (Bonnie) Isaac, Vinton; five daughters: Inez Isaac, Vinton; Bertha (Gary) Oswalt and Dortha Beachy, both of Huntington, Indiana; Virgie (Wayne) Spencer, Andrews, Indiana and Dellie Hosmer, Vinton. Also surviving are twenty-three grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren; and one brother, Mander (Beulah) Isaac, Jackson, Ohio.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by daughter Edna Isaac, seven brothers and three sisters.

Mr. Isaac was a member of the Little Pearl Old Regular Baptist Church, Mount Tabor Road, Vinton, where funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 16, 2013. Burial will follow in the Mount Tabor Cemetery. Friends may call at the church Tuesday, 4-6 p.m., at which time services will begin with Elder John Thornsberry officiating.
