GALLIPOLIS — To celebrate Make a Difference Day, students and staff from Guiding Hand School collected donations of food and personal hygiene items. These items were delivered to the Cheshire Baptist Church to help with their monthly food drive and dinner. The church serves between 70-75 families every month and also provides a hot meal prior to the food giveaway. The next date for the food pantry is November 19. Dinner will begin at 5 p.m. and the pantry will open at 5:30 p.m. Pictured above are Pastor Jon Mollohan, pantry volunteer Sue Thacker; Guiding Hand student Austin; pantry volunteer Peg Thomas; and Guiding Hand staffer Christy Richards. Pictured right are students Austin, Beau and Lee.
