GALLIPOLIS — There will be one contested race for Republican central committee person and none in the Democratic aisle when voters go to the polls for the March 4 primary.

In Harrison Township, Kenneth Swain and Lori Ann Beaver are in contention for theGOP committee post, the Gallia County Board of Elections reported.

No candidates for the commitee filed on the Republican side in Green 3, Huntington Township, Ohio Township and Springfield 1.
