Employees from Smith Construction Group, of Dayton, work on a portion of the new Speedway convenience store on Second Avenue. The building was damaged last weekend when a PT Cruiser drove forward late Saturday afternoon and struck the side door, bending it and causing minor structural damage. The driver reportedly suffered minor injuries. Gallipolis police have said the incident was not drug- or alcohol-related.
