MARIETTA, Ohio — Ten local athletes representing Point Pleasant and Meigs high schools competed in the 22nd annual Battle Against Cystic Fibrosis Football Classic at Marietta College’s Don Drumm Stadium, on Friday. The West Virginia all-stars, led by the Big Blacks coaching staff and eight PPHS graduates, claimed a 28-6 victory over the Ohio all-stars, which featured two Meigs graduates.
