The Ohio Valley Publishing area had seven boys make the Southeast District Golf Teams for the 2015 season. The area had four players selected in Division II, while three players were chosen in Division III.
Gallia Academy had two players selected to the D-2 squad in senior Dares Hamid and sophomore Taae Hamid. Senior Logan Sheets was River Valley’s lone D-2 choice, while sophomore Levi Chapman was chosen on behalf of Meigs. All four players participated in the D-2 district match.
Southern freshman Jensen Anderson was selected to the D-3 squad. Eastern freshman Jasiah Brewer was chosen on behalf of Eastern, while senior Cuyler Mills was the lone choice for South Gallia. Brewer was the only player to participate in the D-3 district tournament.
Warren’s Nathan Evans was named Division I Coach of the Year, while Unioto’s Dan Drummond was named Division II Coach of the Year. Waterford’s Josh Arnold and West Union’s Carl Schneider shared Division III Coach of the Year honors.
