Gallia lands $30 million beef facility

BIDWELL — An international beef producing company had decided to set up operations in Gallia County.Tri-State Beef Inc., a subsidiary of Dae Kyung Oil and Transportation Co., has chosen Bidwell’s Dan Evans Industrial Park as the site for its new $30 million American beef slaughter, packaging and advanced protein processing facility.Local officials say the new company will provide 250 new jobs to the area. Company officials said they plan to break ground on the facility sometime in 2015.
