ADDISON — Addaville Elementary students were busy this week with dozens of activities designed to highlight their love for reading during their annual Right to Read Week. This year, the theme was ‘Read and Write like a STAR!’ Throughout the week students heard from guest performers like Thaddeus Rex, pictured above, and guest librarians like Rachael Barker, pictured right, with Mrs. Howard’s fourth grade students, Jessica Rife, Emma Shamblin and Deven Marcum. Students also dressed up throughout the week and enjoyed book giveaways, mystery readers and Family Literacy Night.
