GALLIPOLIS — The Gallipolis Daily Tribune will begin its coverage of the high school football playoffs tomorrow with South Gallia, and it will continue through Monday with Gallia Academy’s game story.

Thursday’s Tribune will preview the Rebels’ Division VI regional quarterfinal at Danville. Friday will preview Gallia Academy’s Division III match-up with Lancaster Fairfield Union.

There will also be a special insert on Thursday, looking back at some of the more memorable games of each team’s 2006 season.

South Gallia plays Danville 7:30 p.m. on Friday while Gallia Academy at Fairfield Union will kick-off 7 p.m. Saturday.

It is the seventh appearance in the last eight years for Gallia Academy, while South Gallia is making its second straight, and second-ever, postseason appearance.
