C. David Mehl, Jr., 75, formerly of Gallipolis, passed away on Thursday, October 25, 2012, at the Thibodaux General Hospital in Thibodaux, Louisiana.
He was born April 17, 1937, in Gallia County, Ohio, son of the late Cecil David Mehl and Verna Mayre Clagg Mehl.
Surviving are his wife, Betsy Warren Mehl of Thibodaux, Louisana; a son, David Joseph Mehl of DeSoto, Missouri; two brothers, Shelby E. Mehl and Michael C. Mehl, both of Porter, Texas; and a sister, Jody Dyson of Yuma, Arizona.
David was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Gerald Wayne Mehl and a brother, David W. Mehl.
A memorial service was held at Landry Funeral Home, Thilbodaux, Louisana, on Saturday, November 3, 2012.
