Chuckie is a Beagle mix male. He is less than a year old and a pet rescued from an overcrowded home with nearly 40 other dogs, according to Gallia County Shelter workers. He is good with children, animals and adults. He is eager to please and looking for a good home.

Leah is a little over a year old. She is a spaniel mix and was discovered by shelter workers on Neighborhood Road lying near what is assumed to be one of her dead pups. She is friendly with people and children, but not so with other female dogs.

Betty-Lou is a female shepherd mix discovered on Sunnyside Drive. She is estimated to be around two years old. She is high energy as well as dog- and kid-friendly.

Casper is estimated to be somewhere near the age of a year and a half. Shelter workers guess him to be a shepherd and chow mix. He is friendly with people, dogs and children. Casper is a somewhat high-energy animal and he would be best suited to a home with a lot of activities for him like walks.
