In 1961, Milhoan returned to begin his teaching career at his alma mater. He taught history and coached basketball for 38 years. He was the first golf coach at GAHS and was elected to the Ohio High School Hall of Fame. Milhoan continues to substitute in the high school as needed.
His loyalty, dedication and commitment to education and athletics at Gallia Academy are only a few of the qualities that are the reasons for his Alumni Association Hall of Fame induction.
