Gallia health department offers flu vaccines


GALLIPOLIS — The Gallia County Health Department will soon begin administering its seasonal influenza vaccine.

The vaccine is available daily during normal business hours at the health department. Flu vaccination clinics are also scheduled throughout Gallia County.

  • Friday, Oct. 9 – Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 9-10:30 a.m.; Hannan Trace Elementary School, 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.; Crown City/City Building , 1:30-3 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Oct. 13 – Gallia County Health Department , 8 a.m.-6 p.m.; University of Rio Grande – Conference Room C, 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • Friday, Oct. 16 – Vinton Town Hall, 9:30-11 a.m.; Ewington Academy, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.; Trinity United Methodist Church, 2-3:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Oct. 20 – Gallipolis Developmental Center, 9-10:30 a.m.
  • Wednesday , Oct. 21 – Centerville Village Hall, 8:30-10 a.m.; Centenary United Methodist Church, 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.; Christ United Methodist Church, 1:30-3 p.m.
  • Thursday , Oct. 22 – Addaville Elementary School, 9-10:30 a.m.; Cheshire Township Building, 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.; Morgan Center Christian Holiness Church, 1:30-3 p.m.
  • Monday , Oct. 26 – Greenfield Community Center, 9-10:30 a.m.; Cadmus Community Center, 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.; Patriot Lodge, 1:30-3 p.m.
  • Tuesday , Oct. 27 – Harrison Township Community Building/Fire Station, 10-11:30 a.m.
