Fun on one wheel

Benjy Davies, of Gallipolis, spends some time practicing riding a unicycle early Tuesday morning in the parking lot of Gallia Academy High School. Davies, who teaches graphic design and printmaking at the University of Rio Grande, was trying to perfect the art of riding backward on the unicycle while waiting for his children, who were at a morning sports practice at the high school. Davies said several members of his family are expert unicycle riders and most can ride backward, something he wishes to also do.
