‘The farm’ and fireworks bring thousands to Rio

The place to be this weekend was Rio Grande, with thousands traveling to both the Bob Evans Farm Festival and the Rockets over Rio fireworks show. It was an event-packed weekend in the village which included 5k races and more. The fireworks show, pictured, gathered $9,000 in donations from businesses and private individuals this year and it was all put toward shooting fire into the sky. Also pictured, a log rolling competition and a large crowd entering the festival from the underground cattle tunnel into the Bob’s Market tent on Sunday at Bob Evans Farm.
