Local students graduate from Shawnee State

PORTSMOUTH — Shawnee State University conducted commencement May 9, conferring degrees on 439 students with 250 receiving bachelor’s degrees, 179 receiving associate degrees and three graduates receiving master’s degrees.

The following are Ohio Valley area graduates:

Joseph Stewart, of Crown City, earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.

Kanissa Carrico of Crown City, earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology.

Tracey Travis, of Oak Hill, earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.

Travis Bailey, of Oak Hill, earned a Bachelor of Science in Natural Science.

Johnathan Brunton, of Middleport, earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.

Megan Smith, of Middleport, earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematical Sciences.
