CLAY TWP. — No injuries were reported in an accident that left one car over an embankment on Monday evening.
According to Lt. Max Norris of the Gallipolis Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Dewey Ferguson, 73, Gallipolis, lost control of his 1995 Dodge Caravan while traveling northbound on Ohio 7 south in Clay Township.
Reportedly, Ferguson was traveling near the intersection of Burnette Road and Ohio 7 when his vehicle drove off the right side of the roadway. He then traveled back across the highway and off the left side of the roadway before coming to a stop in a culvert.
No injuries were reported and the vehicle sustained functional damage.
