GALLIPOLIS — Girls from all of the area’s high schools will show off this year’s prom dress designs and colors this Sunday at the Ariel.
It’s time again for Brittany’s 24th annual Prom Style Review, which has been set for 2 p.m., Sunday, January 19, at the Ariel-Dater Hall in downtown Gallipolis.
Kay Hardway, Brittany’s Fashions owner, said she has enjoyed working with the girls to organize the show this year.
“I enjoy getting the community involved,” Hardway said, “It’s a great event for everyone.”
Hardway added that over 100 models will take part, wearing an array of styles and colors from designers such as Sherri Hill, Tony Bowls, and Mac Duggal.
“We’re going to see a lot of blues, greens, reds, and golds,” Hardway said, “And what’s really great about this year is there’s a dress for everyone —every body type.”
Hardway said that all proceeds from the event will go to the restoration of the Ariel.
Prom hours at Brittany’s Boutique have begun; the shop is now open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. For more information about Brittany’s, visit the Facebook page Brittany’s Gallipolis.
